A fire gutted two grocery stalls on Jalan Kerja Bakti, RT 001/04 Makasar, Tuesday (3/23), around 2.30 AM. The incident was allegedly triggered by electrical short-circuit from a stall belongs to Imam (54). There is no casualty, but the loss reached Rp 100 million.

Head of Operational Section for East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Handling Sub-Department, Moelyanto said 12 fire trucks deployed to the scene. But they had difficulties because many locals saw the incident closer and vehicles parked on the side of Jalan Kerja Bakti.

They finally managed to control the situation within an half hour. "The situation is sterile at around 4.10 AM," he expressed.
